Andrew J. Czuchry, Jr, PhD, PMP
President and Founder
Dr. Czuchry’s technical innovation expertise is based in creating information encapsulation
and communication methods for complex interacting systems to achieve distributed
computational power. The key factor in the success of such solutions is integrating
advanced technology with human behavior principles to achieve effective user-centric
solutions. In creating these solutions, Dr. Czuchry has transformed a premier liberal
arts foundation from Dartmouth College, as enhanced through rigorous systems and
technical engineering specializations in graduate school at the Georgia Institute
of Technology, into a series of accomplishments in the realm of information engineering
and bio-physiologically inspired computational systems. His PhD in Information and
Computer Science (with a minor in physiological psychology and concentration in
neural computing) from Georgia Tech is for innovating and applying formal models
for creating “automatic programming and neural computing” solutions; models based
upon representations of the human visual system to perform pattern recognition in
real-world natural lighting scenes.
Dr. Czuchry’s professional background embodies the formation of innovative bridges
across the traditional chasms between technical solutions, user-centric applications,
physiological modeling, business entrepreneurship, and strength-based team leadership.
He began his contributions to the advancement of technical applications and innovations
in 1984 within an established corporate environment (Lockheed-Martin) and has continued
expanding these contributions to the present day. During his twenty-three (23) year
career, vital practical experience has been gained in innovation leadership for
eight (8) existing organizations as well as for six (6) new ventures he founded.
These results derive from a successful pattern of analyzing innovation opportunities
and problems, and then designing and building use-inspired solutions that harness
the power of cutting-edge new media technologies.
The seminal work by Dr. Czuchry on creating information encapsulation and communication
methods for complex interacting systems was published in 1988 [Czuchry & Harris,
1988]. In conjunction with this applied research, he and his collaborators are credited
with pioneering the work leading to the now common concept of using tool-supported
multiple views to illustrate complex and voluminous amounts of information. Subsequent
innovations by Dr. Czuchry have led to over ten (10) technical publications and
ten (10) patents (granted and pending) as of early 2007.
In 2006, Dr. Czuchry founded Impact Video Solutions, LLC (IVS) as a venture to promulgate
new media mycrochannel™ solutions and innovation in the consumer marketplace. The
resulting IVS services include rich media content distribution, rich media content
management, multiphasic content playback & user experiences, subscription management,

Patrick J. Gorman
Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Gorman has over 25 years of marketing and technology development experience
in bringing numerous innovations to market successfully. His career encompasses
senior management positions at a variety of firms, including Research International,
Equifax/Elrick and Lavidge, Synovate, and Quester. Most importantly for Impact Video
Solutions, Mr. Gorman has extensive experience successfully marketing disruptive
technologies (technologies that effectively and completely change business models)
that have been created by PhD thought leaders.
Mr. Gorman’s executive experience began in 1984, when he founded Express Data Center
within Decision Center, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Research International). Express
Data Center was the first mall-based data collection service in the United States
to employ personal computers to conduct consumer interviews. Express Data Center’s
proprietary software and innovative collection approach shortened the time needed
for data delivery from the industry average of several days to a revolutionary 24
hours.
Mr. Gorman next launched OmniVision for Equifax. OmniVision linked Equifax’s credit-record
division with its research company (Elrick and Lavidge) and its data collection
company (Quick Test). OmniVision marked the first time in Equifax’s history that
information gathered from its three subsidiaries could be systematically combined
and leveraged. The results were extremely effective targeted mailing lists for Fortune
500 companies.
After the success of OmniVision, Mr. Gorman founded National ShowCase for Market
Facts (now owned by Synovate). National ShowCase is a mall-based omnibus business
that allows clients to share the costs of mall interviews. The success of National
ShowCase soon resulted in new responsibilities within Synovate for Mr. Gorman. Primary
among these responsibilities was the management and marketing of Synovate’s Interactive
Opinion Network Global Group. Mr. Gorman led this group as it developed the Interactive
Opinion Network Global Suite. Interactive Opinion Network Global Suite is currently
the premier computer-based multi-media data collection system in the world and is
used in over 40 countries.
In 2005, Mr. Gorman and two partners purchased Quester, a research and technology
firm that allows anyone with access to a computer to have an online “conversation”
with a conversation simulator called Socrates. As President and CEO of Quester,
Mr. Gorman expanded the application of Socrates by introducing Quester Inside. Quester
Inside is a service that allows any company to insert the Socrates technology into
a traditional research interview, making possible the probing of open-ended, unstructured,
text-based questions. This service is used today by many of the world’s top companies
as a way to add value to their standard marketing research interviews.
Throughout his career, Mr. Gorman has been instrumental in developing technology-based
client-focused solutions to meet the very demanding 24/7 needs of multi-national
companies. The results are most recently exemplified through Quester being recognized
not only as a business success but also as an award-winning market research company.
